"BLOCKING WEB PAGES USING HOST FILE IN WINDOWS"

1.HOST file can be foun in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\" directory.
2.Open it in notepad,

3.Add new entry to the file "127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com"
   by adding it the facebook will be blocked..

4. Save the file
5.Now try opening the site it will not be displayed.
6.ENJOY!!!!

OPENING AN BLOCKED WEB PAGE IN COLLAGES!!!!

In school and colleges most of the domain names are blocked,
for eg: www.facebook.com.
But we can still open the website using the ip address corresponding to particular website.
Just do the following steps:
1: Find the ip adress of a website using traceroute tool,
    Go to run and type "tracert www.facebook.com"
    it will give an ip address in my case it is "69.171.242.11".
2: Now just copy and paste the ip adress  at adress bar of a web browser,
    it will display the website...
